Tutoring is something that I believe in wholeheartedly. Anybody has the capacity to not just simply learn a subject, but also to thrive and exceed one's own expectations once the instructor/tutor has figured out how to best present the information. I have successfully been tutoring for eight years, and I have enjoyed seeing the progress of my students! This experience is serving me well as I continually become more aware of how learning styles and personalities play a role in tutoring. I attended Norfolk State University for a bachelor's degree in biology and obtained a minor in the field of chemistry. Besides my enjoyment of the sciences, I have also been very fond of numbers as well. It is these three subject areas that I have personally excelled at and offer my services for. Over the past eight years, I have assisted students ranging from elementary age to college age learners make academic leaps. I consider myself to be a highly motivated and energetic tutor and I gladly tailor my tutoring style for every student. In my free time, I love to allow my creativity to run wild by working on various projects! I love to play guitar, dance, and I also enjoy sewing.
