Hobbies
I am a pianist for Heritage Baptist Church, enjoy composing music for piano, and spending time with my friends. I must be honest and say that I am not the greatest at being eloquent in speech. I am typically straightforward and to the point, disregarding any and all extraneous conversation, especially when it comes to my tutoring. When I go to tutor my students, too often I find that this over-saturation of jargon from their teachers is what has caused them to become confused. The teachers have failed to keep things simple (which is an absolute must when it comes to learning mathematics). I understand that when a parent calls me to come and tutor their son or daughter, I have a minimal amount of time to help them get back on track, and as such the entirety of my time must be spent with the student, focused on the task at hand. While I do understand that having similar interests is nice to have when speaking to the student, it does not hold a priority when it comes to helping the student out of a dire situation.
